Ustron

Ustroń - the only health resort town in the Podbeskidzie region. Ustroń owes its charm to the surrounding mountain tops of Wielka Czantoria ( 995 m - 3316 ft.),  Mała Czantoria (866 m -2880 ft.), Lipowski Groń ( 745 m - 2383 ft.) and Równica ( 884 m - 2943 ft.), covered with beautiful beech and spruce trees. A favourable location on the highway between Katowice and  Ustroń, approximately 12 kilometres away from the border with Czech Republic and about 80 km   from the nearest airport (Katowice-Pyrzowice) makes Ustroń easily accessible and  attractive for tourists. Local pensions, sanatoriums and hotels offer almost 6000 beds of high standard as well as a good number of bars and restaurants, interesting cultural sites   and   sport centres. The town provides tourists with excellent conditions for treatment, rehabilitation, sports activities and countless chances to unwind and relax.
