The National Stadium will be located on the site of what is today the 10-th Anniversary Stadium. This is the largest construction project for Euro 2012. Matches planned to be held at the National Stadium in Warsaw include the opening match, one quarterfinal match, and one of the semifinal meetings. The designer of the National Stadium is the Germany-based JSK Architects. The firm has a large portfolio of projects done abroad - along with the German cities of Düsseldorf and Berlin, their buildings can be found in China and South Africa.
The facade of the National Stadium hearkens to Poland's national colors, looking like a waving white and red flag. Separate press facilities for 860 people will be included, alongside two thousand 'premium' spaces for special guests, places for the disabled and approx. 900 VIP seats in loge areas.
The structure will be part of the National Sports Centre, and the Polish national side will play its most important matches on its pitch.
