Niedzica

Castle Dunajec - a medieval fortress built on the right bank of the lake in Czorsztyńskiego in the village Niedzica Zamek (Niedzica Castle) in the area of Polish Spisz or Zamagurza (Pieniny Spiskie). The castle was probably built in the early fourteenth century by the Hungarian border land colonizer Rykolfa Berzeviczego from Strążek.

Originally, the castle was a watch on the Hungarian border with Poland. In 1470 the house passed into the hands of Zapolyich, then, for a period of 60 years in the possession of Łaskich (Jerome, and later his son Olbracht). In 1858 the castle was taken over by the next Hungarian ancestry - Salamonowie. After the end of World War I, the castle appeared within Polish borders.
