The greatest achievements: second place in FIA World Cup in 2008. Wining the title of European Champion in rallies in 1997.

Krzysztof Hołowczyc is one of the most titled Polish racing drivers and one of the most popular figures of Polish sports. In his rally career he has won a title of champion and vice-champion of Europe; he has triumphed in the championship of Poland three times, and has participated in the world championship successfully. 

His sports career started as it usually does with drivers - from a go-karting episode. He was still in a primary school then. He also played volleyball. However, rallies have taken up him - it is his greatest passion even today. He has won The Rally of Poland three times (1996, 1998, 2005), he also has won in rallies of: Albena, ELPA and Cyprus (1997).

He has taken the wheel of many car's models in his sports career. He started with Fiat 125p and Polonez. Later on there was time for Toyota Celica, Ford Escort Cosworth, Subaru Impreza WRC, and Peugeot 206 WRC. Since 2005 Dakar Rally has been another challenge for Holowczyc. The sports achievements and extraordinary personality has brought him great popularity. He has become a sport and TV individuality; TVP1 audience found him the most popular sportsman of Poland in 1997. He enjoys rallies of high technical difficulty level. As he says: „The worse, the bigger mess on a road, the better for me".

Krzysztof Holowczyc is a member of the European Parliament. He closely cooperate with Ari Vatanen, another deputy, who is a rally champion from 1981. Both of them are occupied with problems connected with safety in traffic. Furthermore, Holowczyc actively supports the foundation „Kierowca Bezpieczny" („Safe Driver") and the program  „ORLEN. Bezpieczne drogi" („ORLEN. Safe Roads").

2008: second place in the FIA World Cup
2007: Dakar Rally, great results in SS's and failure - after an accident and a car's trouble Holek retreats from the rally. 2nd place in the Rally of Poland; he loses his win in the last stage puncturing a tyre.
2006: Tunisia Rally - 4th place, Dakar - unable to finish, he retreats after the engine failure after Warzazat stage
2005: Barborka Rally  - a win in the famous sports trial at Karowa Street; The Rally of Poland - 1st place, Dakar - a finishing line in début, after some technical problems 60th place, at the end of the rally in a leading position in several stages
2004: Kormoran Rally - 1st place
2003: participation in the Production Car World Rally Championship (PCWRC)
2002: participation in regional rallies
2001: vice-champion of Poland in the general classification
2000: participation in the world championship
1999: champion of Poland in the general classification (co-driver - Jean-Marc Fortin)
1998: participation in the world championship (Rally of Argentina - 7th place, the best one in the history of the individual world championship of Polish driver in the general classification)
1997: champion of Europe (wins in rallies of Albena, ELPA and Cyprus)
1996: champion of Poland in the general classification, 6th place in the Championship of Europe
1995: champion of Poland in the general classification, vice-champion of Europe
1994: champion of Poland in N group, II vice-champion of Poland in the general classification
1991: vice-champion of Poland in N-04 class, 11th place in the general classification
1989: champion of Poland in A-14 class, 6th place in the general classification
1986: II vice champion of Poland in A-14 class, 5th place in the general classification
1984: début in rally routes (Kormoran Rally)
