Hobby: motorsports. Still, he spends his free time with his wife and two kids most willingly. The greatest achievements: World Champion of 2007 and 2008 in all-terrain rallies of 450 ccm class, the first participation in Paris - Dakar Rally in 2000.
Nobody believed that he would have reached a finish line. He was 46th then and as the first Polish motorcyclist he has finished this the most difficult rally of the world.

The motorsports became his hobby when he was 14-years-old. He repeatedly gained champion and vice-champion titles in Enduro Rallies. What is more, he fought his way to the world's leading riders gaining World Vice-Champion in the all-terrain rallies. In 2007 season there was no illusions about the best world rider in 450 ccm class since he put on the champion's crown one round before the competition's end. 

Since 1993 he has got a licence of a motorsports instructor. He is a respected trainer and instructor of young riders. He has been awarded the Silver and Brown Cross of Merit for his excellent cooperation with young people and outstanding sports achievements. He has participated in the most difficult rally in the world - Dakar Rally, and he has done it eight times. He has finished this competition eight times; and he has been in a leading ten of general classification twice. Furthermore, he has successfully participated in other prestigious all-terrain rallies organized in Tunisia, Morocco, UAE, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, and Egypt.

2007: world champion in 450 ccm class. Dakar - 10th place for a second time in his career; KTM LC4 660 Rally
2006: 5th place in the world championship in 450 ccm class, Dakar - 14th place; KTM LC4 660 Rally
2005: II vice world champion in class up to 450 ccm; Dakar - 12th place; KTM LC4 660 Rally
2004: vice world champion in the all-terrain rallies; Dakar - 10th place; KTM LC4 660 Rally
2003: 6th place in the general classification of the world championship; Dakar - 13th place, KTM LC4 660 Rally
2002: 7th place in FIM World Cup; Dakar - 20th place, KTM 660 Rally Replica
2001: Dakar - 24th place, Honda XR 650
2000: début in Dakar; 46th place in the general classification; 7th place in the class up to 400 ccm, Yamaha WR 400F
1998: First preparations to participate in Dakar, an observer during Paris - Dakar Rally
1996: The trainer of Polish team during the team world championship in enduro rally
1993: third place in the plebiscite for the best trainer from Warsaw
1989-1992: champion of Poland in enduro rally
1986: participation in world and European championship
1984: junior vice champion of Poland in 125 class in enduro class
