Grodziec Castle
The first mention of a medieval castle Grodziec come from the tenth century, which operated at that time as a defensive fortress Bobrzan tribe. For the thirteenth century belonged to Piastów, and then to the family Bożywojów. Extended to the next owner - legnickiego Prince Frederick, and became a powerful fortress on the model of the castle brick legnickiego. The castle fell in the Thirty Years War era. Rebuilt only in the nineteenth century, when it became the property of John Henry VI von Hohberg. The castle burned down in 1945. Today is partly restored and made available to the public.
